Services
What we offer, and what it actually looks like
No two people need the same thing. Below is each service we offer, who it tends to suit, and what happens once we begin — so there are no surprises.
ABA Therapy
Children & Adolescents
Applied Behaviour Analysis: structured one-to-one work that builds everyday skills in small, achievable steps — and measures whether they are holding.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Autism spectrum support across daily routines
- Learning to communicate a need instead of melting down
- Self-care skills — dressing, eating, toileting, sleep
- Play, sharing and turn-taking with other children
What a session looks like
We begin by watching closely and agreeing a handful of goals with you, in plain language. Sessions are one-to-one and repetitive by design, because repetition is what makes a skill stick. Progress is recorded session by session, so you can see movement rather than take our word for it.
Speech & Language Therapy
Children, Adolescents & Adults
Assessment and therapy for speech, language and communication — for a toddler with no words yet, and equally for an adult recovering the ones they had.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Delayed or unclear speech, or a very small vocabulary
- Stammering and fluency difficulties
- Understanding and using language socially
- Adult speech and language after stroke or injury
What a session looks like
We start with an assessment of what is actually happening, not only what is missing. Therapy then runs through play for younger children and structured practice for older children and adults. You leave with something specific to do at home, because an hour a week is never where the progress comes from.
Occupational Therapy
Children & Adolescents
Practical help with the physical and sensory side of daily life — handwriting, coordination, balance, and coping with noise, touch and movement.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Sensory sensitivity, or sensory seeking
- Fine motor skills — handwriting, buttons, cutlery
- Balance, coordination and body awareness
- Difficulty settling, focusing or sitting still
What a session looks like
Much of this looks like play and movement, because that is how the nervous system learns. We work out which inputs your child is avoiding or chasing, then build a routine that makes the school day and the home evening easier for everyone in the house.
Behaviour Therapy
Children & Adolescents
For the meltdowns, the refusal and the hard mornings — and for parents who are tired of feeling that they are getting it wrong.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Frequent or intense meltdowns
- Refusal, defiance and power struggles
- Aggression toward siblings or classmates
- Sleep, mealtime and transition battles
What a session looks like
Most of this work happens with you in the room. We look for the trigger underneath the behaviour rather than the behaviour itself, then build a response you can repeat when you are exhausted — because that is the only kind that holds.
Clinical Psychology & Assessment
Children, Adolescents & Adults
Thorough, unhurried assessment and psychological therapy, so that what happens next rests on a clear picture rather than a guess.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Developmental and autism assessment
- Attention, learning and behavioural difficulties
- Anxiety, low mood and emotional difficulties
- A second opinion on a diagnosis you have been given
What a session looks like
Assessment runs across more than one appointment, so nobody is pushed past their limit in a single sitting. We finish with a feedback session where the findings are explained in plain language, with clear recommendations, and questions answered for as long as you need.
Counselling & Training
Children, Adolescents & Adults
Confidential counselling at any age, and training for the parents, teachers and professionals who spend the most time with a child.
Often helpful when you’re seeing
- Counselling for adolescents and adults
- Parent guidance and home programmes
- Teacher and school staff training
- Professional training in ABA and behaviour management
What a session looks like
Counselling is a confidential conversation, at whatever pace suits you. Training is hands-on rather than theoretical, and can be arranged for a single family, for a school, or for a group of professionals.
Not sure which one fits?
If you’re between two of these — or none of them — that’s normal, and genuinely fine. Tell us what you’re seeing and we’ll tell you honestly what we think would help.
